This tool is made using Microsoft Excel. It enables those interested in tracking election results of the 2014 Osun State Governorship Election to track the results real-time while collating the results at Ward, Local Government and State level simultaneously. To derive maximum benefits from this tool, the user should have access to authentic election results at the Polling Unit level. As these results are inputed into the spreadsheet, automatic collation of results occurs.

Data points which this tool provides are as follows:
1. Election Results (Number of valid votes, rejected votes and total votes cast) at PU, Ward, Local Government and State levels. The tool is designed to track APC, LP and PDP results with a column provided for other parties. A user can add additional parties by using the 'insert column' feature.
2. Number of registered voters and accredited voters at PU, Ward, Local Government and State levels.
3. Chart showing the distribution per LGA of total valid votes statewide.
4. 4 Charts showing the distribution of votes received by APC, LP, PDP and other parties per LGA.
5. 30 charts depicting distribution of votes received by APC, LP, PDP and other parties within each local government area.
6. 1 Chart showing the distribution of votes received by APC, LP, PDP and other parties for the state.
This tool will be most useful for accredited observer groups and political parties which intend to ensure real-time collation of election results as they are received from the field.
It is advisable to test the tool with sample data to get used to it before Election Day.
