PRESS STATEMENT – ELECTION MONITOR CALLS ON THE SUPREME COURT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA TO URGENTLY REVIEW ITS JUDGMENT OF THE 2019 IMO GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Election Monitor issued a press statement requesting that the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria urgently review its judgment of the 2019 Imo State Governorship Election.
Election Monitor believes that based on its own assessment the Supreme Court should urgently review the judgment in the interest of justice, equity and fairness. The reasons for this are delineated in the attached document.
Election Monitor felt it necessary to do an audit analysis of the 2019 Imo Governorship Election as a Nigerian organization that is committed to the promotion of good governance.
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
